Great News – The Manual Options Isn’t Dead
The 2026 Hyundai Elantra N TCR Edition is officially coming to Canada, and it’s bringing real racing flair to everyday roads. Inspired by Hyundai’s dominance in the Touring Car Racing (TCR) World Tour, this special edition Elantra N blends motorsport DNA with premium enthusiast features—making it the most track-focused Elantra ever offered north of the border.
Slated to arrive in late 2025 or early 2026, the Elantra N TCR Edition will be sold by order only, with pricing starting at $47,599 CAD for the 6-speed manual and $49,199 CAD for the 8-speed dual-clutch automatic (DCT).
“We’re inspired by over 5,000 passionate N-thusiasts in Canada,” said Steve Flamand, president and CEO of Hyundai Auto Canada. “The Elantra N TCR Edition represents everything they love—performance, style, and a connection to racing culture.”

Performance, By Design
At its core, the TCR Edition uses the proven 2.0L turbocharged four-cylinder from the Elantra N, producing 276 horsepower and 289 lb-ft of torque—boosted to 286 hp with N Grin Shift on DCT models. That’s paired with either a high-engagement 6MT or Hyundai’s N-tuned wet dual-clutch automatic.
Key TCR-inspired upgrades include:
- Carbon Swan Neck Spoiler
- 19” Lightweight N TCR Forged Wheels
- N Performance Brakes with 4-piston monoblock front calipers and 2-piece rotors
- Alcantara Interior Package (including gear knob, parking brake, and console armrest)
- TCR Edition badging and door logo lamp
- Performance Blue seatbelts and Alcantara steering wheel with 12 o’clock marker
Existing Elantra N tech features like N mode, electronically controlled suspension, and an e-LSD come standard, ensuring this car is as sharp on a track as it is on the street.

Canadian Spec and Colours
Buyers will be able to choose from four bold exterior finishes:
- Abyss Black
- Atlas White
- Cyber Grey
- Performance Blue (the hero colour)
Both transmission options will be available in Canada, a nod to true enthusiasts who still crave the connection of a manual gearbox.
