Launching in May 2024 across the U.S., the ElectricDrive™ 2 represents a paradigm shift in EV tire technology, emphasizing sustainability. The tire incorporates a minimum of 50% eco-friendly materials, including soybean oil, rice husk ash silica, and sustainably sourced natural rubber.

Recent Goodyear consumer research underscores the discerning needs of EV drivers, prioritizing a tranquil ride and exceptional wet road performance. To meet these expectations, the ElectricDrive™ 2 integrates SoundComfort Technology®, a built-in sound barrier ensuring a serene driving experience.  Moreover, its asymmetric tread pattern not only enhances handling but also performs exceptionally in diverse conditions.

This tire accommodates various EV models, from Tesla‘s Y, 3, and S to the Ford Mustang Mach-E, Chevy Bolt, Audi Q4 e-tron, and more. With 17 available sizes, the ElectricDrive™ 2 is tailored to fit a myriad of leading and emerging consumer EV sedans and CUVs.
