Derived from CES 2020’s S-A1 concept, the S-A2 integrates aerospace engineering with Hyundai’s automotive design, revolutionizing urban commuting. Supernal targets 2028 market entry, prioritizing safety and cost-effective manufacturing. The V-tail aircraft, cruising at 120 mph and 1,500-foot altitude, suits city trips of 25-40 miles. Boasting a distributed electric propulsion system and eight tilting rotors, the S-A2 ensures quiet operation at 65 dB during vertical take-off and landing, and 45 dB while cruising horizontally.
