Cassidy and Barclay Set to Leave Jaguar TCS Racing
Nick Cassidy will leave Jaguar TCS Racing at the end of this Formula E season.
According to The Race, the decision was made shortly after the Monaco E-Prix.
Though Jaguar hasn’t confirmed it, sources say Cassidy signed a long-term deal with another team. That agreement is expected to carry through the Gen4 regulations beginning in 2026.
It’s disappointing to see Cassidy go. His partnership with Mitch Evans finally gave Jaguar a true one-two punch. No one else has consistently challenged Evans like Cassidy has.

Cassidy’s next team is expected to be under the Stellantis umbrella. However, these details have yet to be confirmed.
Cassidy joined Jaguar late in 2023 and immediately made an impact. He captured two race wins and seven podiums. Last season saw him and teammate Mitch Evans battle for the Championship until the last race of the year.
In another loss, Jaguar, Team Principal James Barclay is also leaving. Losing both leaders could stall the team’s progress.
In a statement, Jaguar called the news “speculative” but didn’t deny it. The team insists all focus remains on the last seven rounds. “Nick is an exceptional racing driver,” said Barclay. He emphasized the team’s commitment to helping Cassidy finish strong.
Cassidy added: “We’ll keep fighting hard for success.”
One thing is clear—Jaguar’s next chapter won’t be easy. Or maybe it will be. Only time will tell.
