Celebrating Cadillac’s V-Series Legacy and Electric Performance Future
Cadillac has unveiled a glimpse of the future with Opulent Velocity, a concept vehicle that embodies the essence of Cadillac’s heritage while charting a course toward high-performance electric driving. Bryan Nesbitt, Cadillac’s executive director of Global Design, expressed the concept’s aim to blend opulence with velocity, promising a zero-emissions approach to luxury and performance.
Transitioning into the present, Cadillac reflects on 20 years of V-Series excellence, showcasing the 2025 CT5-V and CT5-V Blackwing. These latest offerings maintain Cadillac’s signature power and refinement while embodying the relentless pursuit of performance.
The roots of V-Series trace back to Sebring International Raceway in 2004, where the CTS-V.R made its victorious debut. Brandon Vivian, Cadillac’s executive chief engineer, emphasizes the symbiotic relationship between Cadillac’s racing endeavors and its road vehicles.
As Cadillac returns to the Mobil 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring, it commemorates two decades of V-Series legacy while pushing the boundaries of performance technology.
