After a thrilling Roar Before the Rolex 24 at Daytona International Speedway, anticipation for the upcoming race soared.

Nestled at the famed track, the Roar showcased the prowess of motorsport machinery on the combined oval and road course.

In a Front-Row Qualifying Sweep, Cadillac asserted dominance, setting the stage for a high-stakes competition ahead.

A record-breaking moment unfolded in the Grand Touring Prototype (GTP) class, with all 9-cars smashing track records, promising fierce battles during the main event.

In the GTD PRO and GTD categories, Porsche secured the GTD Pro Pole class, while Vasser Sullivan Lexus Team claimed pole position in the GTD category. Notably, both categories celebrated first-time pole winners.

As the teams fine-tuned their strategies, the Roar served as a preview, offering a glimpse into the intensity that will unfold during the main event.

The Roar Before the Rolex 24 not only unveiled the contenders but also hinted at the challenges that await in the 24-hour endurance race.  Balance of Performance (BOP) hindered many teams during practice and qualifying, including Mercedes.  But this all leads to a thrilling 2024 Rolex Daytona 24

Mark your calendars for the 62nd Rolex 24, scheduled for Jan. 27-28. NBC television coverage begins at 1:30 p.m. ET Saturday. The network also carrying the finish beginning at noon Sunday, Jan. 28. Flag-to-flag coverage will stream live on Peacock, with additional television coverage airing on USA Network.
