Tesla Banned from Vancouver Auto Show

A Bold and Necessary Decision

The Vancouver International Auto Show has removed Tesla from its exhibitor lineup. CTV News first reported this decision.

Organizers acted just before the show’s opening on Wednesday (today). Tesla’s absence is now clear on the event website.

I applaud this move. Elon Musk’s recent words about Canada are appalling and shameful. They cannot be ignored or tolerated.  Musk supported Trump’s threats to annex Canada. He called our nation “not a real country” on his platform, X.

The Vancouver Auto Show’s executive director, Eric Nicholl, confirmed Tesla’s removal. He said safety and positivity were the top priorities.  “The Vancouver Auto Show has removed Tesla after multiple chances to withdraw voluntarily,” Nicholl stated in a release.

Protests erupted last weekend at Tesla dealerships across British Columbia. This anger is justified. Canadians deserve respect.  In response, Musk cried foul on X. He called vandalism “domestic terrorism.” He painted himself as a victim, and I’m not buying it.

British Columbia has already removed Tesla from its subsidy list, amazing! That’s another appropriate step. Actions speak louder than tweets.

A petition calling for Musk’s Canadian citizenship revocation has gained hundreds of thousands of signatures. We are not “woke mind parasites,” as Musk has written about Canada.  Musk and his orange-haired friend and convicted sexual predator, Trump are the only parasites who are, unfortunately, still breathing.

The Vancouver Auto Show did the right thing. I hope more institutions follow their example.
