Max Verstappen has secured the coveted pole position for the opening race of the 2024 F1 season at the Bahrain Grand Prix, marking a historic achievement.
He dominated the qualifying session, initially clinching provisional pole before solidifying his position at the top during the final runs of Q3. Verstappen’s impressive lap time of 1m 29.179s left his closest competitor, Charles Leclerc, trailing by 0.228s, securing his place at the front of the grid for the highly anticipated race.
