Program to feature over 1,600 girls aged 12 to 18
Formula E and the FIA unveiled plans for an unprecedented surge in female participation in the FIA Girls on Track program during the upcoming ABB FIA Formula E World Championship Season 10.
For the first time, all 11 race locations will feature FIA Girls on Track experiences, engaging over 1,650 girls aged 12 to 18. The initiative extends its reach to Mexico City, Diriyah, Hyderabad, São Paulo, Tokyo, Misano, Monaco, Berlin, Shanghai, Portland, and London.
A groundbreaking addition includes a program representative joining the ceremonies team on the victory podium at each race, amplifying the message of gender inclusion in motorsport.
Allianz steps in as the new Global Partner of the FIA Girls on Track initiative, joining forces with Hankook (Presenting Partner), ABB (Global Partner), and WAE (Official Partner).
Julia Pallé, Vice President Sustainability, Formula E, expressed excitement, emphasizing the program’s role in educating and integrating the next generation of female leaders into the motorsport workforce.
Deborah Mayer, FIA Women in Motorsport Commission President, emphasized the commission’s commitment to increasing female participation across all levels and domains of motorsport.
The enhanced program offers immersive work experience, career talks, and increased engagement for participants, fostering a deeper understanding of motorsport career opportunities.
The elevated initiative, supported by key partners like Allianz, aligns with Formula E’s commitment to championing gender equality, setting a new standard for sports organizations worldwide.
