First up, Formula E is making a high-voltage push into the world of behind-the-scenes storytelling. Amazon Prime Video will debut “Formula E: Driver — a new four-part docuseries, premiering May 2. This series dives deep into the 2023-24 season through the personal journeys of four stars: TAG Heuer Porsche’s Antonio Felix da Costa,

Jaguar TCS Racing’s Mitch Evans, Andretti’s Jake Dennis, and ERT (now Cupra Kiro) driver Dan Ticktum. Expect a raw look at the electric open-wheel championship like you’ve never seen before, blending on-track action with the intense pressures of racing life.

Meanwhile, NASCAR fans have a date with Netflix. “Full Speed: Season 2” arrives May 7, promising an even more emotional and dramatic look at the 2024 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. This five-episode season follows stars like Joey Logano, Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Christopher Bell, and Daniel Suárez as they navigate the chaos and intensity of the playoffs, culminating in the epic championship battle at Phoenix Raceway.

Finally, Prime Video is set to deliver a heartfelt tribute to a NASCAR legend. Launching May 22, just days before Prime Video begins its live NASCAR Cup Series coverage at the Coca-Cola 600, comes “Earnhardt” — a four-part documentary series chronicling the life and legacy of Dale Earnhardt Sr.

Through never-before-seen archival footage, emotional interviews with his children and close friends, and a raw look at family dynamics, the docuseries promises to celebrate and humanize one of the sport’s most iconic figures. The first two episodes will air May 22, followed by the final two on May 29.
