Qualifying, Race Day Times & Headlines
It’s the last race before the Formula 1 summer break, and the headlines continue to circulate around Perez, Sergeant, Audi, Alpine with yet another management change and Haas F1 replacing K.Mag with the weapon known as Ocon.
Here are the boiler points:
- If Perez continues to struggle, we can expect reserve driver Lawson to step in or possibly Carlos Sainz from Ferrari;
- Lone American driver, Logan Sergeant competing for Williams F1, who has stepped up his recent form, is likely to lose his ride regardless of performance. No secret with that comment. But who will step in? Sainz, Kimi Antonelli from Mercedes F1 Junior Team or Bottas?;
- Alpine F1 is set to replace the current team principal, Bruno Famin. Who cares – The French team needs a rebrand and a sale to regain fans;
- Audi F1 has nothing but drama surrounding them and they haven’t even made it to the grid yet. Former Ferrari Boss, Matiia Binotto now joins the team, but there’s another year and a half before the lights go out for Audi. Will he, or they make it to the start line?;
- The weapon known as Ocon officially joins Haas F1 for the 2025 season and 2026 if he doesn’t kill himself or someone else first. We’ve officially unfollowed Haas F1 on all social platforms. Ocon is a danger to everyone around him. We feel sorry for Oliver Bearman who will race alongside him.
