As a seasoned automotive and motorsport luxury traveller, I recently had the honor of attending an exclusive event at the Genesis House in New York City. Nestled amidst the bustling streets of the Big Apple, Genesis House stands as a beacon of opulence and innovation, perfectly encapsulating the essence of modern luxury.

A prelude to the much-anticipated opening day of the 2024 New York Auto Show, where automotive aficionados, enthusiasts and buyers gathered to witness the unveiling of Genesis’ latest marvels: the GV60 Magma and the Neolun Concept Super Luxury EV. But the festivities didn’t stop there; attendees were also treated to a spectacle of automotive excellence with the showing of the G80 Magma, GV80 Coupe Magma, and the breathtaking Gran X Berlinetta Gran Turismo race car.
What truly set this event apart, however, was the seamless fusion of high-end automobiles with haute cuisine and exquisite libations. Picture this: as I marveled at the sleek lines of the GV60 Magma, I was also indulging in delectable culinary creations and sipping on artisanal cocktails. Genesis House effortlessly redefines the luxury experience by blending the art of automotive engineering with the culinary arts, creating an ambiance that tantalizes all the senses.
I should mention that my Producer indulged in the artisanal cocktails, while the chef’s team catered to my dietary requirements of no alcohol (I saved my sugar for dessert) and vegan dishes.
Adding to the allure of the evening was a panel discussion featuring none other than legendary racing driver, Jacques Bernard Edmon Martin Henri “Jacky” Ickx, alongside Genesis Global Head of Design, SangYup Lee, and Chief Creative Officer of Genesis and Hyundai Motors, Luc Donckerwolke.
