New Season Drops Before F1’s 75th Anniversary Opener
Netflix has announced Drive to Survive Season 7 will premiere on March 7, 2025. The hit series brings fans behind-the-scenes drama from the intense 2024 Formula 1 season. With pre-season testing wrapping up, viewers get fresh storylines before the Australian Grand Prix kicks off another year of racing.
The 2025 F1 season marks the sport’s 75th anniversary, starting with back-to-back races in Australia and China. Albert Park hosts the opener on March 16, followed by the Chinese Grand Prix on March 23. Shanghai also features the year’s first F1 Sprint on March 22.
Pre-season testing takes place in Bahrain from February 26-28, two weeks before the lights go out in Melbourne. The calendar continues with Japan, Bahrain, and Saudi Arabia in April. Miami hosts Round 6 in May, before the European leg dominates summer.
The final stretch sees races in Azerbaijan, Singapore, and the Americas before Qatar and Abu Dhabi close the season. Qatar hosts the last Sprint on November 30, while Yas Marina crowns the champion on December 7.
With Drive to Survive building excitement, fans won’t have to wait long for lights out on an unforgettable season.
