Race #2 at Atlanta Speedway Proves to be AMAZING!
Headlines:
- Daniel Suárez wins for Trackhouse Racing by 0.003 seconds at the stripe
- Kyle Busch in third, 0.007 seconds behind the race winner
- Ford & Toyota have yet to win with new cars
Ford began the weekend at Atlanta Motor Speedway on pole with Michael McDowell, who ultimately settled for P8.
Atlanta marks the second official race on the 2024 NASCAR calendar, and the second time neither Toyota Racing or Ford Performance won. Chevy being the third OEM in NASCAR hasn’t debuted a new race car since the NEXT GEN Car reveal in 2021.
The race continues for Ford Performance and Toyota Racing, on who will capture first bragging rights in 2024.
