Toyota Wins First NASCAR Race of 2024 With All-New Camry XSE
Christopher Bell showcased his resilience by overcoming varied pit strategies, surging from 20th to clinch the top spot and secure his maiden victory of the season.
Leading the charge with a commanding performance, Bell, also triumphant in the second stage, dominated the final 40 laps, securing a commanding victory with a lead of over five seconds.
The race saw Toyota’s dominance, with the manufacturer leading for 298 out of 312 laps. Making history for Toyota, five drivers led for 50 or more laps for the first time, including Tyler Reddick (68 laps), Denny Hamlin (68 laps), Ty Gibbs (57 laps), Martin Truex Jr. (55 laps), and Bell.
Gibbs delivered a stellar performance, finishing a career-best third, while Reddick seized his inaugural stage win of the season.
